Refund Policy

Effective Date: May 6, 2026

At CALL A RIDE, we aim to provide safe, reliable, and professional transportation. This policy explains cancellations, refunds, and situations where service may be refused.


Cancellations

  • Full Refund: Cancel at least 24 hours before scheduled pickup.
  • 50% Refund: Cancel within 24 hours of pickup time.
  • No Refund:
    • Passenger no-shows
    • Late arrivals beyond wait time
    • Incorrect booking information provided by customer

Driver Wait Time

Drivers allow a 10-minute grace period unless prior arrangements are made.

After this period, the trip may be canceled and charged as a no-show.


When Service May Be Refused

Drivers may refuse or terminate a ride to protect safety, legality, and vehicle condition. Common reasons include:

  • Passenger appears dangerously intoxicated or under the influence of drugs
  • Aggressive, abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behavior
  • Refusal to wear a seatbelt or follow safety instructions
  • Exceeding passenger/load capacity
  • Attempting to transport illegal, hazardous, or prohibited items
  • Requests involving unsafe or inaccessible destinations
  • Undisclosed animals or uncontrolled pets
  • Behavior likely to damage the vehicle or endanger occupants
  • Failure to comply with local transportation laws

Safety decisions made by the driver are final.


Service Interruptions

Refunds may be issued at our discretion for trips canceled due to:

  • Mechanical problems
  • Severe weather
  • Road closures or emergencies outside our control

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
